Our report covers analyses on effective tax rates of 55 consumer products companies.
Here are some findings from our report:
- The average effective tax burden of the 55 companies covered by the scope of this study was 25.1%. This figure has not changed significantly in the last three years.
- Sector comparison: a similar benchmark study was carried out previously for six sectors, and compared to these sectors companies operating in the consumer products sector have the second lowest tax rates.
- Domestic and international company comparison: effective tax rates of companies operating mostly in their own countries are higher than the tax rates of international companies.
