Acceleration Centre (AC) provides distinctive services in support of client engagements through enhanced quality, innovation, standardization and optimization, flexibility and increased efficiency.

PwC’s Acceleration Centre (also known as Service Delivery Center) are the organisation’s global capability Centers. Our strategy is to “mobilise the best capabilities worldwide to address our stakeholders’ most important needs.” The Acceleration Centres enable PwC to build the most effective global teams, by the power of high-quality talent, competencies across our lines of service, scale and the global delivery model.

Manner of Work

Our Acceleration Centre is based in strategic locations and provides an opportunity for a collaborative team-based environment with limited travel requirements.

The audit is carried out by central office employees in coordination with field teams.

Innovation and Technology

Acceleration Centre staff help to transform the ways we work and help clients tackle their most important business challenges. Our AC professionals have the opportunity to pilot new types of Acceleration Centre work and innovation firm tools leveraging emerging technologies across all lines of service.

Assurance Acceleration Centre

As a member of our Acceleration Centre - Assurance (AC - Assr) work with one or more Turkey and Global -based (PwC Europe) role in piloting new activities, working collaboratively with key members of PwC Assurance Practice towards successful pilots and to expand the centers catalog of services.

Our AC professionals also have the opportunity to work with our CoE and participate in piloting new types of AC work including innovative technology.

Core Assurance focused teams perform financial statement audits for public and non-public clients within the General Assurance, Asset Management and Private Company Services sectors.

Besides working with the field team, as the AC Assurance professionals aim to develop expertise in a range of assurance activities that use technology tools and process to ensure the best quality.  

Assurance Acceleration Centre’s Teams

SDC Teams: Obtain the data of the client from the engagement teams, process it within the framework of audit standards for getting specific outputs and share them with the engagement teams and CC teams.

CC Teams: Work together with field engagement teams and run a limited part of audit processes by using tools that specified by audit standards. In addition, our German team, which serves PwC Germany and PwC Austria, constitutes a part of this team.

CoE Teams: Compile and process journals, subledgers and trial balances obtained from the customer within the framework of audit standards, ensure the completeness check, and then perform journal entry tests requested by engagement teams. This team is also responsible for visualization of relevant tests.

At the same time, they develop templates and offer digital solutions such as process automation that save money and time and increase efficiency through package programs for the requests come from other line of services, PwC Turkey clients or other PwC territories.

Tax Team: Acceleration Centre Tax Team professionals provide quality deliverables, drive process efficiency through the alternative delivery for PwC Turkey tax activities.
