Here are some findings from our report:
The average effective tax burden of the 55 companies covered by the scope of this study was 25.1%. This figure has not changed significantly in the last three years.
Sector comparison: a similar benchmark study was carried out previously for six sectors, and compared to these sectors companies operating in the consumer products sector have the second lowest tax rates.
Domestic and international company comparison: effective tax rates of companies operating mostly in their own countries are higher than the tax rates of international companies.
