Devrim joined PwC Istanbul Office in March 2011 after gaining 10-years work experience at the Ministry of Finance.

He started his career at a private bank as an assistant inspector. Afterwards, he began to work at the Ministry of Finance as an expert. During his assignment at the Ministry, Devrim engaged in the studies for the alignment of the Turkish taxation system with the relevant EU acquis, represented Turkey at the meetings of the EU Joint Transfer Pricing Forum as an observer, participated in the consultations with the IMF mission on large taxpayer services and establishment of the Large Taxpayers Office, actively took part in the preparation and implementation of transfer pricing legislation, and joined in Advance Pricing Agreement negotiations carried out by the Turkish Revenue Administration.

He is a graduate of Middle East Technical University, Department of Political Science and Public Administration. He also holds a Master’s Degree on European Studies. He wrote his thesis on “The Control of Mergers and Acquisitions in EU and Turkish Competition Law”. He is fluent in English and speaks intermediate French.
